You agree to these terms, and to our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns policy, when you tick the box at checkout and place an order. We record the date and the version of these terms you agreed to with your order. To place an order you must be able to form a binding contract where you live (usually the age of majority), or have a parent or guardian place it with you.

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when payment is taken and we send your confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item turns out to be unavailable, or the price shown was plainly wrong — and if we do, we refund you in full.

If we cancel because of a pricing error, we'll tell you and give you the choice to buy at the correct price or get a full refund.

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Checkout shows the full breakdown before you pay — items, shipping, any discount or gift card, and any tax — and the total there is what we charge. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts it and may add its own fee.

Any sales tax we're required to charge is shown as its own line at checkout. We're a small supplier and currently aren't registered for GST/HST, so right now no sales tax is added. Orders crossing a border can attract import duties, taxes or brokerage fees from the destination country or carrier, which are the recipient's responsibility — see Shipping & Returns.

You can pay by card, with a gift card, or both. Card payments are processed by Stripe: your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

Shipping options, costs and estimated delivery windows are shown before you pay. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Full details are in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

You can return any item, including made-to-order prints, within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. Refunds go back to your original payment method (any part you paid with a gift card goes back onto that gift card). For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is paid by you and original shipping isn't refunded. Damaged, defective or wrong items are replaced or refunded in full, shipping included.

The full process is in our Shipping & Returns policy. None of this limits any cancellation, return or refund right you have under consumer protection law.

Posters and prints are produced after you order, by a third-party print partner that prints and ships them to you on our behalf. We're still the seller and responsible to you for the order.

We describe and photograph products as accurately as we can, but screens display colour differently and printing, paper and materials vary slightly between batches. Small differences like these are normal and aren't a defect — though you can still return anything within 30 days if it isn't what you hoped.

Discount codes are entered at checkout on our site, one per order, and the discount shows in the total before you pay. Some offers apply automatically, and we use the one that saves you the most. The newsletter welcome code works on a first order only. Codes have no cash value, don't apply to gift cards, can't be applied to past orders, and may have an expiry date, a minimum order or a once-per-customer limit shown with the offer.

Gift cards are sold in Canadian dollars and delivered by email with a 16-character code, either to you or to the person you name. They can be spent on anything in the shop except other gift cards, and up to five can be used on one order. Whatever isn't spent stays on the card for next time.

Gift cards never expire and have no fees. They can't be exchanged for cash except where the law requires it. An unused gift card can be refunded within 30 days of purchase.

Keep the code safe: anyone who has it can spend it. If it's lost, contact us with your order number. We'll cancel the old code and send a new one for whatever balance is left.

We'll email you about your order (confirmation, shipping and delivery updates). We only send marketing email — the newsletter — if you ask for it, and every one has an unsubscribe link. If you start a checkout and don't finish, we may send you one reminder; reply “stop” and we won't send another.

Reviews you post are public and must be your own honest opinion of a product. By posting one you let us display it on the site. We may remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic, spam, or not genuine. We don't edit reviews to change their meaning.

The Aerial Design Co. name, site design, text and original photography belong to us. Please don't copy them without permission.

Our prints are independent artwork. Aerial Design Co. is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any airline or aircraft manufacturer, and any trademarks that may appear in a photograph belong to their respective owners.

• Don't try to get around security measures, rate limits, or checkout and price validation.
• Don't scrape or automate the site beyond normal browsing.
• Don't place fraudulent orders or post fake reviews.

Everything we sell comes with the warranties and conditions that consumer protection law provides — for example, that goods are of reasonably acceptable quality and match their description. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits those. We don't make additional promises beyond them and what's written in these terms and our Shipping & Returns policy.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, and they don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you're a consumer, you also keep any protection and right to bring a claim that the law of the place you live gives you.

We may update these terms. The version you agreed to at checkout is the one that applies to that order; changes only apply to orders placed after they're posted.
